Registrar Overview

We cannot log into Purity Names to redirect our traffic to our new web servers.

No technical support. Church website dead. No help after multiple calls and emails.

Supposed to be provider with morals yet we are held hostage.

Outrageous!

All I can say is that they are the worst...I have tried numerous times to contact them and I get no response. I want to transfer to another platform, and I need an authorization code, which they will not supply me with. I even chatted with the platform I want to transfer to and they can't help me circumvent the authorization code problem.

So screw Purity, I am going to let go of the website, get another domain name and rebuild the website.

Purity Names...you suck

Our domain name is held captive and we have no website. While an automated tech support email was sent back in response to a question, there has been no other support.

What a nightmare.  They are holding my domain hostage and there is nothing I can do about it.  I wasn't notified of its expiry until AFTER it had expired.  Now I get daily emails marked URGENT to renew it to avoid losing it.  However, their payment system does not work - I have tried three different credit cards that work fine for all other purchases and get the same cryptic error message to contact support.

Unfortunately support is virtually nonexistent.  You can't call anyone.  Email support comes only after days of harrassment, and then is of no help at all.   I can't transfer my domain out because they've locked it and refuse to unlock it until I renew.  But I can't renew because their system doesn't function and no support is available.  There is no way to unlock your domain by yourself, you have to ask them to do it but they refuse to do it.  It appears I have no choice but to lose my domain. 

BEWARE of using PurityNames for your domain registration unless you want to lose your domain.  What a scam.
