OnlineNIC is my favorite registrar for a few simple reasons. They consistently have the lowest prices for the gTLDs and ccTLDs we register. The pricing model is matter-of-fact and does not fluxuate unless of a pre-determined discount is offered. There is no hassle with needless upsells upon checkout. They also have a wonderful API for remote domain registrations and management of domain names.
Bonus: They have been a registrar since 1996. For as long as I have been a client, there services (web interface, API, and others) have never malfunctioned or been unavailable. 100% service uptime.
